General principles

Conditions of obtaining a detention of weapon

To be member of a club affiliated to the French Federation of Shooting since at least 6 months

To obtain an opinion favourable of this club for the request for detention (Test of

knowledge and notebook of shooting)

To have a virgin criminal record

Not to have psychiatric antecedents

To satisfy an investigation of vicinity made by the services of police force or of gendarmerie.

A place of storage conforms to the legislation in force (Safe or

Cupboard-strong).

The parts required are:

A photocopy of current detention (only for the renewals).

A photocopy of the licence incur validity (all requests made in end of

season will probably remain without answers or will require the new licence).

A photocopy of the chart of the club.

Two documents in proof of residence (mobile Invoice of telephone excluded).

A photocopy of a valid identity paper.

A card of marital status and French nationality.

Favourable opinions given by the club and recorded near your league.

A document in proof of protected storage of the weapons (this document in proof is not defined in manner

precise by the texts in strengths but an invoice or a report of the places seems to be

a satisfactory solution)

In the case of the requests for renewal, those must be done at least

three months before the expiration date of detention.
